We’re from Scotland and grew up in Fife and Crieff respectively, before immigrating to Perth, Western Australia in 2009. We’ve both been interested in photography from our early teenage years, but it was arriving in Perth that marked the beginning of our photographic journeys.

Jock
- I love taking photos in my home studio, using controlled light to create artistic portraits as well as beautiful family portraits. But also love making use of the beautiful natural surroundings we have here in Western Australia and using the natural light to take stunning family photographs.
- I have two Daughters, called Skye & Eilidh, who were born in May 2012 & March 2014 respectively. So it’s needless to say I’m well versed in the challenges involved in capturing images of the young ones.
- I’m married to Morag, who is also a large part of Splash 22 Photography. She is my inspiration and has inspired me to get to where I am now, especially with photography.
- I also love taking photographs of people when they don’t realise they are being taken, especially on the dance floor, as I believe that this is when you catch their raw genuine emotions.
- I love to meet new people and tailor my photography to suit their specific requirements. If you can’t find what you’re looking for on the site, then don’t hesitate to contact me and we can talk more about prices and services.
- As well as family photography, I absolutely love photographing events. We service the metro area with our magic mirror photo booths and use this as an opportunity to cover the roaming photography at weddings, parties and corporate events as a supplement to our photo booth hires. Being able to let my hair down, even though I’m a baldy, and get involved in the action to capture those priceless moments is what we really love!
